Being A Teacher in all Life Topics
What is a teacher?
The fundamental nature of the teacher is the double-life he lives, often even three-fold and even multiple lives. A teacher is a wanderer between the worlds – and a changer of worlds. He carries the one to the other and the other to the one. He is nowhere at home, but with his roots and wings at home in all rooms.
A teacher does not teach, he gives what nourishes and covers up what doesn’t help yet. He loves, what is unloved, and helps to love that which is dark. He laughs when people cry, and cry’s when they laugh. He loves the humans, happiness and pain, and cannot differentiate between them.
A teacher is child, adult and master, body and spirit combined. He is not channel, an elected or envoy, but himself. A teacher is one with the being of spirit, who gives together with him, and one with the being of humans – that receive together with him.
A teacher has completely let-go of his own childhood and lectures. Therefore the wisdom of that time lives within him. He has completely let-go of his own darkness and horror. Therefore the love in these rooms is alive within him.
He has let-go his maturity and mastery completely. That is why the spirit of these times are alive within him., and dance together with him, and will thus do the right thing in every situation and encounter, because the lecture ascends from his heart.
In his own world a teacher stands upright in his present consciousness and heart-sovereignty. His head held high, his breath is deep, his glance is open for his own next steps, but still his heart rests is peace and is balanced.
In the world of his scholars, the teacher kneels to be on the same eye- and heart level with them. He looks his scholar in the eyes and recognises the brother.
He cry’s with his scholars over their pain and together they free it. He laughs with his scholars at their ignorance and together they change it into wisdom.
He feels the fears of the scholar and together they open his darkness. He recognises the needs of the scholar and gives spirit and soul nourishment, while he leaves the questions of the ego unanswered. He knows about the “spirited” wisdom of the scholar and learns from him.
This, loved ones, is the ethical frame of our “teacher being” towards you, as well as your “teacher being” towards those coming after you. Teach them how we teach you and let them be teachers for those coming after them.
For this reason your teaching-apprenticeship lies in nothing else, but in the opening of your own hidden rooms, in the redemption of your own childhood and aggression, in the liberation of your own Godly spirit, in the free-flow of your own thoughts and feelings – in the realisation of your own existence.
And so be it!
